Fall For Scituate Event
Fall for Scituate is sponsored by the Scituate Chamber of Commerce. The North Scituate Village hosts Fall for Scituate: A Hometown Celebration, in October. The emphasis of the Fall for Scituate event is on the community. The first Fall for Scituate took place in 2012 and it is an event looking to continue to grow.
There are many Fall for Scituate events. A popular event is the annual ChowderFest. This event features the classic New England favorite, made by the area’s top restaurants and caterers. Events Fall for Scituate also includes entertainment, an invitational artisan show, special merchant activities, and a lot of community involvement.
Fall for Scituate events included Tow Jam Puppet Band Halloween Show, Chowder/Chili Fest, Ice Cream Eating Contest, Oldies show featuring The Turn Tables, Clydesdale Hitch Hay Rides with Peter Mundt Festive Music for All Ages, East Coast Video Game Truck, Madame Rushca Fun Fortunes told; Pony Rides, Face Painting, Touch a Tractor, 24” Dual Slide for Kids and Adults, Artisan/Crafter Marketplace, Games, Food, Music, and much more.
Included in events Fall for Scituate, the cost for the entertainment is free, however, there is a charge for the ChowderFest, hay rides, pony rides, slide, game truck, bouncy louse, and food. The event takes place from noon until 5:00 pm at Henry Turner Bailey Road in North Scituate in the smaller T parking lot. Last year, the event hosted over 3,000 attendees. Fall for Scituate offers a great day to enjoy the fall, be with family and friends, enjoy the entertainment, and build the community.
